A new children’s bookshop called the Reading Bug opened on 2nd of November 2009. Owned by Fleur and John Fanselow, the Reading Bug sells books, activities, baby toys and more. Not only do they sell fiction books, but non-fiction books as well. Inside the bookshop is a reading tunnel, beanbag, and shelves and shelves of books. When you buy a book you get a free bookmark. The Reading Bug is located on the corner of Tennyson and Colombo Street in the new Beckenham Shops.
